Our highly-experienced Behavior Specialists create community or family Behavior Support Plans for youth and adults that target ways to support the individual, alter the environment, and teach replacement behaviors. A functional behavior analysis (FBA) is followed by a clear-concise plan that can be implemented by families and/or staff who are supporting the individual. Our Behavior Specialists help to integrate various services to assure common treatment goals and target outcomes. 

Spectra offers families who have a member who is prone to verbal or physical aggression the opportunity to receive in-depth training in how to deal with such crises.  Drawing from the expertise of the Crisis Prevention Institute, this training helps families to work toward safety for the individual and family members.  

This on-going series offers parents concrete strategies for developing structure in the home to increase desired behaviors and decrease challenging ones.
